Afghanistan Agriculture Rehabilitation Project
Afghanistan Agriculture Rehabilitation Project (AARP) is an Afghan-led non-governmental organization established in 1992, working to promote sustainable agriculture, food security, and community rehabilitation across Afghanistan.
Dedicated to providing essential services for internally displaced persons and refugees fleeing conflict zones. Our work focuses on emergency shelter, food distribution, medical care, and psychosocial support for those forced to abandon their homes due to violence, persecution, or natural disasters.
With over 8 years of field experience in conflict zones and refugee camps across three continents, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of forced displacement. Currently, over 100 million people worldwide have been forcibly displaced from their homes—the highest number ever recorded. These individuals, whether classified as refugees crossing international borders or IDPs remaining within their own countries, face similar challenges: loss of livelihood, separation from family, trauma, and uncertain futures. Our work not only addresses immediate survival needs but also focuses on durable solutions, including local integration, safe return, or resettlement to third countries.
Join our mission to provide sustainable solutions for displaced families. Whether you can offer housing, employment opportunities, or community integration support, every contribution helps rebuild lives shattered by conflict and persecution.
